Making a To Do List

A simple way to manage your time and keep yourself from forgetting something important is to make yourself a to do list.

Making a To Do List

A to do list is a prioritized list of tasks ranked in order from highest to lowest priority. As you complete each task, cross it off the list. There is no better feeling than crossing the last item off your list--trust me.

It can be as simple or as high tech as you like. There is no right or wrong way to make one. Try using:
  • A scrap piece of paper
  • A colourful template printed from the Internet
  • The notes section of your calendar or agenda
  • Colour-coded sticky notes
  • An app on your phone
  • A notebook that you always carry with you
  • A notepad specially designed for making to do lists
  • A whiteboard hung inside your locker or on your bedroom wall

The images below will give you some inspiration and tips for making your own to do lists.
